AWGS is a first class operation. The lodging, food, transportation, and guides were all top of the line. My father-in-law and I harvested great bucks an hour apart on the same morning. It was an experience and memory I will never forget!

Most importantly the people were helpful and professional at all times. Be patient and follow the guides’ advice. The question I would ask if interested in AWGS is, would you return? Yes, we are currently arranging our 2020 adventure with them.

I have hunted with a variety of outfitters in the United States and Canada and highly recommend a whitetail hunt with AWGS.

I had a fantastic hunt with AWGS. The attention to detail was apparent in all aspects of the hunt. They plan the hunt with care and detail that I think would be hard to find anywhere else. To date, I have been on 3 whitetail hunts with AWGS and filled tags aside, I consider my hunts to be successful. Without hesitation, I can say that every detail of my experience with AWGS has been first class.

AWGS is a very good outfitter that has developed a unique method of providing hard hunters with better than average odds on mature whitetails. 

My 5 hunts with AWGS resulted in 5 awesome bucks and a couple of black timber wolves…not to mention a load of memories that will last forever.

I’ve hunted whitetails in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Alberta for 35 seasons. It took awhile to find an outfitter who will put in the effort required to create an opportunity at a “top end whitetail”. This November will be my 22nd year with AWGS – “nuff said!”

I have been blessed enough to enjoy the AWGS camps on 4 occasions! The guides are regular guys that love what they do and work HARD to make sure you are in the best possible spot!

Three buddies and I had the privilege of spending a week with Dean up in Canada. The lodge was very comfortable, and the food was first class. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We all either harvested deer or had opportunities to harvest a deer.

If your dream is to kill a mature, big woods buck in Canada this is the place to go!

I have made lifelong friendships with other hunters, the guides, and the cook (fabulous meals). If you are looking for a Big Bush Canadian Whitetail Adventure, I would always recommend AWGS.

If you want to experience beautiful country and a realistic opportunity to see a 150-160 inch whitetail (and maybe much larger) then AWGS is a good choice!

It’s hard to believe that this year’s hunt could surpass others I’ve had with you guys over the years! Every slammer Whitetail I’ve seen up there, is burned into my memory. My Alberta hunt with AWGS each year is in some ways – all that I think about down here!

I took my deer to the Texas Trophy Hunters Contest and won 1st Place for “Out of State Non-typical”.

I truly came away with the feeling that I got my moneys worth and that is why after 8 years I am still hunting with AWGS.

My conclusion is that AWGS is in control of everything, excluding weather and deer movement, don’t forget this is hunting! They run a first-class operation and will do everything humanly possible to give their hunters a chance at a trophy deer…why go anywhere else. They exceeded all my expectations, I’ll be back.

Each time I return to your camp, it feels like I get to go back in time 20 years to hunt again with friends and family at the oh so familiar deer camp. What people fail to realize are the experiences and memories are a treasure that can be kept a lifetime.

I first came to Alberta to hunt with AWGS in 1999 and did not kill a deer. I was so happy and impressed with how organized and dedicated that these people were in trying to make my hunt and stay a success, that I have been coming back ever since.
