Our Rifle Whitetail-Wolf season occurs in the month of November every year. Our standard package includes Saturday arrivals and Sunday departures with 5 1/2 full days of hunting taking place Monday through Saturday.

Applicable taxes, pre & post hunt ground transportation (on scheduled departures), all ground transportation during your hunt, quality guides, meals, accommodations, animal field dressing/caping, and packaging of cape/antlers for return trip are included in your hunt price.

Please note:  You are responsible for round-trip transportation to/from Edmonton and a hotel night on either end of your stay.  AWGS will book the hotel rooms on your behalf, at one of our affiliate hotels.  It is your responsibility to ensure you will gain entry into Canada.  Please come prepared with your own weapon/ammo and appropriate clothing/gear for your hunt.

Deposits/Booking:  In order to hold your spot, a deposit in the amount of 50% of your hunt price PLUS a signed hunt contract must be delivered to our mailing address within 30 days of AWGS confirming your hunt booking via email.

Tipping:  Gratuities are not included in pricing above.  While tipping is not mandatory, it is customary to tip your guide ~10% of your hunt price, if you believe they worked hard to make your hunt memorable.

Cancellations:  If AWGS receives notice of cancellation via email prior to these dates (of your hunt year):

May 1st: the deposit amount can be transferred to a hunt in a future year.
Sept 1st: the total hunt fees paid to date can be transferred to a replacement hunter provided by the Client.

Notice of cancellation by any means after the above dates, will result in the total hunt fees paid becoming non-transferable.

Refunds: AWGS will not issue refunds for any reason, including but not limited to illness, injury, loss of income, business emergencies, flight delays, travel complications, or family emergencies.  We highly recommend that all clients purchase travel insurance as a safeguard in the event they cannot show up for their hunt.

Meat Processing:  This is not included in your hunt price, as we do not offer this service.  Clients can take home meat that they have cut and processed from their deer.

Wounding Policy:  We will make every effort to recover a wounded animal.  In the event the animal cannot be recovered, AWGS may consider your hunt complete.
