As per usual for John, he started his ’04 2-week hunt out by seeing a number of “shooter” quality bucks. On day 5, his excitement peaked out during an active morning of hunting. John had his crosshairs on a true “magnum” buck, but after the doe it was trailing took off – so did his opportunity! A very short time later, this mature 160” buck gave John a short look and a decision to make – and he decided! Good job once again John.
